Chanced upon The New Paper (btw, it's ystd's paper) early in the morning (okay, it was 11 plus but I just woke up) and saw something that really caught my attention.
It's about a girl who fought cancer at the age of 30. (You can read it from http://shandysim.blogspot.com/.) She's been very optimistic ever since she was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer, yet Cancer took her life away just recently. It really touches my heart probably 'cos Cancer has always been a topic close to my heart ever since...
1. Jean was diagnosed with Brain Cancer, and passed away thereafter.
2. Grandpa was diagnosed with GIST, suffered a lot, went for surgery.
3. Grandpa's GIST came back a year later, took Glivet, suffered a lot.
4. Grandpa was diagnosed with Stomach Cancer, suffered a lot, went for surgery, suffered a lot.
5. Grandpa's condition isn't very favourable since tumor marker is high, and doctors aren't very optimistic about the high tumor marker.
Oh man... I hope the cure for Cancer can be discovered soon.
